Perfume is still considered by law to be a “trade secret”: this is why brands do not reveal their ingredients. This opacity has favored the use by certain brands of controversial ingredients, such as BHT, an additive used as an antioxidant and suspected of being an endocrine disruptor.

Without controversial ingredients: without endocrine disruptors, parabens, phthalates, stabilizers, dyes or anti-UV filters...
QUALITY
We pay particular attention to the quality and selection of our natural and synthetic raw materials.
The natural materials used in the composition of our perfumes come from all over the world. We choose, with perfumers, exceptional natural ingredients, shaped by their terroirs, and the result of sustainable cultivation by the different producers.
At Bastille, every gesture counts. This is why our entire manufacturing process is designed to minimize our impact on the planet.
LOCAL PRODUCTION
- No production on the other side of the world: all our components come from French or European partners.
- Our packaging is made from FSC™ certified paper, meaning it comes from forests managed responsibly according to rigorous environmental, social and economic standards.
- We strive to ban plastic as much as possible, with one exception: our pump and an insert necessary for our bottle to remain airtight.
- Our manufacturing is French: our perfumes are imagined in Paris, assembled in Grasse and bottled near Paris.
